Some of my favorite shops are:

Century 21 (Downtown New York), where all the New Yorkers shop at discount prices.

Jersey gardens 10 min from Newark Airport and Woodbury Common which is amazing, with loads of great shops and half price bargains, one hour outside New York City. Check out touramerica.ie for flights

Also Fulton street is fab as they have Abercrombie and Fitch there and a lovely Guess shop. There is also an amazing Amercrombie on 5th ave.

Designer shops are located on 5th ave. Macy's is one of the largest department stores in the world, and Bloomingdale's is definately worth a look.
