Tax Information

In the United States, Sales Taxes are taxes which are added on to the price of goods or services - similar to VAT in Ireland.

The Sales Tax in New York City is 8.875%. However, there is currently a year-round exemption from the sales tax for items of clothing and footwear, as follows:

• Items costing under $110 will remain tax free.

• Items costing over $110 will be taxed ALLother items such as jewellery and electronics remain taxable @ 8.875%.
